Another PACO philosophy is to take chamber music and the lessons we learn from it out into the community. PACO has made an impact beyond the walls of Cubberley, the United States and beyond. 

These are some of the many ways PACO makes a difference!

• Music Lessons For All:  PACO is happy to support music lessons to those who can’t afford them considering the financial challenges for some of living in the Bay Area. The longterm result will be more music in more communities, a stronger connection to the diversity that represents the Bay Area and another way to get PACO out into the world. • PACO-Accra Ghana Collaboration: We send musical instruments and supplies to young string players in Accra Ghana.  A group of PACO students teach weekly music lessons over Zoom.  Learn More

• Community Ambassadors: PACO students play at many community events in and around Palo Alto including at nursing homes, farmer's markets, local school events, and community events such as the Palo Alto Christmas Tree lighting ceremony, and many others.  Visit our student leadership council page for more information.

• Local Arts Collaborations: PACO has worked with other local arts groups including Ragazzi Boys’ Choir, Schola Cantorum, Peninsula Teen Opera, Pacific Ballet Academy, Cantabile Youth Singers, and iSing Girls Choir. 

• PACO Into The World Scholarship: Funded projects are meant to make a difference in our world.  Student projects have ranged from local to International.  Please see a list of winning projects here.
