The Fry Street Quartet In Residence With the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra From February 23rd to March 1st, 2026

August 15, 2025 - Get ready for an extraordinary musical event! We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the acclaimed Fry Street Quartet will embark on a captivating one-week chamber music residency with the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra (PACO), running from February 23rd to March 1st, 2026. This unique collaboration promises to be an immersive experience, featuring insightful side-by-side presentations, a free and public masterclass, all culminating with the Fry Street performing in our esteemed Chamber Academy Concert Series. Don't miss this incredible opportunity to witness world-class artistry and educational engagement right here in Palo Alto as we show the world how to play well with others!

Each PACO orchestra will get a private 40 minute performance as well as a side-by-side rehearsals where Fry Street Members lead from the principal positions (open to parents).

Events:

All orchestra rehearsals will include a 40 minute concert followed by principal led rehearsals.

• Monday, February 23 - SuperStrings: 4:00-6:00pm

• Wednesday, February 25 

  • Debut: 4:30-6:30pm

  • Sinfonia: 7:00-9:00pm

• Thursday, February 26

  • Preparatory: 4:00-5:30pm

  • Coaching/Masterclass of Academy groups: 6:30-8:30pm

• Sunday, March 1

  • PACO Chamber Academy concert,  2pm  PAAC

  • The Fry Street Quartet closes out the Chamber Academy concert with a performance of Janacek and Arboreal.  

  • Concert reception and potluck will follow the chamber concert.  

  • Senior PACO: 5:00-6:00pm
