Schumann poured his 19th century romantic soul into his magical concerto for cello, as does present day Robert Stern in his “Hazkarah”. Bach’s Third Brandenburg, a three by three magical concerto for strings, has been delighting audiences for almost 300 years.

Cello virtuoso Matt Haimowitz performs Schumann’s lovely cello concerto, plus a performance of Bach’s Third Brandenburg Concerto joined by PACO musicians from all five of our ensembles plus alumni who are coming into town to help us celebrate our 40th Anniversary. It promises to be one of the most exciting PACO concerts ever!
